It is that time of the year again when the Zimbabwe Rural Schools Library Trust provides you with an opportunity do the 3.7-kilometre healthy run/walk and raise some money that enables the underprivileged Zimbabwe rural school children to access reading material. Two containers of books full of books have so far been shipped from New Zealand, with the contents of the second container only being distributed today, Saturday 2 February 2019, courtesy to people who have taken the trouble to support this noble cause in various ways, including through this fun run.
Let us assemble at the playground near the Innes Common by the lake at 8.30am
Registration fees for the fun run are $10 for adults, and golden coin for children of school going age, or by any generous donation one can contribute. Registration can be paid by depositing into the Trust’s bank account 03-1355-0850295-00 or on the day. To identify your deposit, write Fun Run in the particulars field and your name in the Reference field.
